Anderson, SC March 27, 2013 -- Zoltes, a leading provider in testing solutions for Data Centers, Voice and Video Technologies announces that Zoltes Media Analyzer version 5.1 is released for general availability.
Zoltes Media Analyzer (ZMA) eases the TelePresence and video collaboration system deployments and field technical troubleshooting by straightforward pinpointing the problems in video calls.
ZMA is a unique solution for visualizing multiplexed, primary and secondary video streams, including voice traffic, for TelePresence endpoints running SIP or H.323.
ZMA has payload playback capabilities of a captured video trace to a physical Video Conferencing or TelePresence endpoint.
ZMA provides end user experience measurements and in depth protocol analysis making the product a must have in tech support organizations, service provider and enterprise environments.
ZMA includes support for SIP (RFC 3261), SDP (RFC 2327) and ITU-T H.323 version 7. ZMA supports ITU-T H.263 and H.264 video codecs. The comprehensive set of audio codecs comprises of ITU-T G.711, G.722, G.722.1, G.723.1, G.726, G.728, G.729, G.729A, G.729I, AMRNB, AMRWB, AMRWBE, SPEEX NB, SPEEX WB, and GSM full rate.
ZMA provides quality of service measurements by MDI (RFC 4445) and MOS (R-factor) metrics and it is able to completely decode TIP, BFCP and RTCP traffic.
The full ZMA analysis reports cam be sent to customer’s email.
“Ideally, the TelePresence systems would provide the best possible video quality by maximizing both video resolution and frame rate. Things are more complicated in reality. Using compression is very important in video transmission in order to minimize the bandwidth requirements can induce signal degradation and additional latency, decreasing the video quality below the acceptable customer experience level.
Through ZMA we wanted to offer to vendors and system integrators of TelePresence and video collaboration solutions the appropriate analyzing tool in order to fine tune and troubleshoot the video and audio transmissions, depending on the problems they are trying to solve or the markets they are addressing,” said Christian Lup, Director of Business Development with Zoltes.
